7 December 2018 APAC Alert – PH: Communist rebels attack–North Cotabato

Six security guards of a multi-national banana grower were injured when suspected New People’s Army rebels attacked the firm’s processing plant in southern Philippines last night. The attack started at about 8:45 PM. An undetermined number of NPA rebels threw two rifle grenades at the plant of Lapanday Banana Group of Companies in Barangay (village) Dallag, Arakan town, North Cotabato province.
